Shankar is now riding high after a very successful 2.0 with Rajinikanth. We are expecting fireworks in this movie as well. The prequel had had Kamal Haasan playing Senapathy, a freedom fighter-turned-vigilante who decides to weed out corruption in India. The movie’s epilogue warned us that he would return when needed, and it looks like Senapathy will soon be back! And in the first look of Indian 2, Senapathy is shown pointing a finger at us – the viewers, perhaps.

Almost all of Shankar’s movies have had AR Rahman composing the music. Remember the foot tapping Akadanu Naanga from Indian? The sequel, however, has 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music. After the superhit songs of Petta, we are hoping for some great music from the Rockstar!
