1. Avengers 4

The first in this list is of course Avengers 4, a continuation of the Avengers series by Marvel and Disney Studios. The last movie, Avengers: Infinity War, left the audiences worldwide in shock and sadness. Fans are hoping for a miracle in the next instalment and desperately waiting for their favourite heroes to return and save the day. The movie is planned to release in April 2019 with certain changes in the cast. Although the title is not officially revealed, some theories suggest the name will be ‘Avengers: End Game’.

2. Captain Marvel

The making of one of the strongest superheroes in the Marvel Universe, this movie promises to trace the origins of Captain Marvel, whose original identity is Carol Denvers. It will elaborately showcase journey of Carol from a pilot in the US Air Force (USAF) to a superhero, her link to S.H.E.I.L.D, and her connection to an alien race. The actor that has been announced to play the protagonist is Brie Larson and this movie is also set to release March 2019.

3. Venom

Showcasing the story of one of the most enigmatic and complex characters in the Marvel Universe, Venom promises to be a very interesting take.Featuring Academy Award character Tom Hardy, this movie will trace a realistic version of Venom’s origins accompanied with a dark undertone. Check out the trailer of this movie that is se to release this October.

4. Spider-Man: Far From Home

After the tragic events of Avengers: Infinity War, our web slinging hero’s fate remains a mystery. But as per sources, Marvel Studios plan to release a new film titled ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ which traces his story after the conclusion of Avengers 4 (currently untitled).

5. Aquaman

DC is not far when it comes to superhero action. It has recently released the official trailer of Aquaman with Jason Momoa in the lead. Fans will finally be able to watch the origin and story of a half-Atlantean half-human Arthur Curry on the big screen. While the trailer promises never before seen underwater action, it will be interesting to see the introduction of other characters like Black Manta. This film is scheduled to release in December 2018.

6. Shazam

Another DC offering is the adaptation of one of it’s popular comics onscreen- Shazam. The film, scheduled for April 2019 is about a young orphan Billy Batson who gains the ability to transform into a superhero by uttering the word “Shazam!” Check the exciting trailer here.

7. Justice League Sequel 

After the success of Justice League, DC plans to release a sequel tentatively around June 2019.With an awesome cast of Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller and direction by Zack Snyder, this film will action twice as magnificent as the first one.

8. Wonder Woman 1984

The Amazonian princess will return to the big screen with another solo film. This time, she will be facing a new enemy called ‘Cheetah’, a villainess with superhuman strength and agility. With actress, comedian and writer Kristen Wiig as the antagonist and Chris Pine alongside Gal Gadot, this film promises a healthy dose of action. The film is set to release in November 2019.
