Oh...My...God! We can’t keep calm as the ultimate Friends reunion special is finally happening and the Friends reunion release date is almost here. The Friends reunion news spread like wildfire and caused an uproar on social media. After a long ‘break’ of 17 years, we will see our favourites coming back together!

According to the trailer of Friends: The Reunion that dropped on 19th May’21, this Friends reunion special will not be a revival episode but rather a candid conversation between the lead stars, with guest appearances from some of the supporting cast as well.

In the past years, especially during the lockdown, the series was our saviour and we have watched it over and over again.

With the current pandemic, the Friends reunion release date being declared was much needed to cheer us up. This show is absolutely evergreen and extremely close to our hearts. It made us experience the love, heartache and hilarity of the Central Perk gang and A-list guest stars countless times. And we are pretty sure all of us shed tears every time it ended. There’s no doubt that the end of this Friends reunion special will also leave us in tears by the end.

With so many memories associated with the sitcom, let us look at some of its episodes that made us LOL before we enjoy the Friends reunion special-

The One With The Jellyfish - Season 4, Episode 1

Bonnie or Rachel? Rachel or Bonnie? The fans were speculating hard regarding who Ross would choose among the two. In the end, he chose Ms. Green who proposed a condition - 18 pages long, front and back! This was also the first tease of Chandler and Monica’s affection for one another spilling over into something more through the unconventional medium of her jellyfish sting.
The 18-page letter has a special mention in Friends: The Reunion that we are looking forward to! Also, we’d like to know from the rest of the cast whether Ross and Rachel were really on a break as the former claimed it like a 1000 times in the series.

The One Where Chandler Crosses The Line - Season 4, Episode 7

The mutual liking Chandler and Kathy shared had us rooting for them but on the same hand, it made us feel bad for Joey. The episode starts with some friendly flirting that turns to hairdressing. Soon enough, Chandler went so far past the line that according to Joey, it looked like a dot to him! A light distraction from Chandler’s guilt was Ross’s discovery of his “sound” and a newfound love for music with a discordant blend of dog barks, explosions and keyboard taps that only Phoebe seemed to understand.

The One With The Embryos - Season 4, Episode 12

Ross judges a Jeopardy-style competition that tests Rachel and Monica’s knowledge of Chandler and Joey and vice versa. We get a glimpse of the complexities of the group members as they think over some truly adult milestones: Phoebe’s artificial insemination and surrogacy of her brother’s children. The game also introduced Chandler's alter-ego, Ms. Chanandler Bong to the world. Chandler and Joey’s entry into Monica and Rachel’s flat on the ceramic dog was one epic moment of the show.
Rumour has it that Friends: The Reunion will also bring back some iconic props and we are rooting for the ceramic dog to make an appearance!

The One With All The Resolutions - Season 5, Episode 11

The only resolution we remember from this episode is Ross’s in which he takes a resolution to try something new each day. It’s safe to say that it didn’t end well with him struggling against hot, sticky leather pants on a first date. And, with Joey’s help over the phone, he ends up creating more of a mess. Additionally, we are sure you remember the part where Rachel finds out about Monica and Chandler but has resolved not to gossip. We are banking for some more exciting gossip in Friends Reunion 2021
We are definitely waiting for the cast to reveal some secrets in Friends: The Reunion.

The One With The Unagi - Season 6, Episode 17

When is Ross at his best? When he is being equal parts neurotic and goofy. And he has perfectly showcased that in this episode by his commitment to Unagi - “a state of total awareness” - which is shattered when Phoebe and Rachel manage to scare him. Elsewhere, Joey employs a fictitious twin who doesn’t resemble him at all, and Chandler gives Monica a mixtape as a romantic gesture that is ruined by the voice of Janice in between.
Here’s hoping that after 17 years, Ross has enhanced his Unagi skills and we get to see some of it in the Friends reunion special!

The One With The Proposal Part 1 - Season 6, Episode 24

In this episode, Chandler finally gathered the courage to propose to Monica. He takes Monica to a fancy restaurant with the ring in his pocket but is interrupted by one and only Dr. Richard Burke! Richard, along with his date, then share the table with the two and what follows is a series of awkward conversations. On the other hand, Joey bids on a boat at an auction for which he doesn’t have the money.
We can’t wait for Monica, Chandler and Richard to be in the same room again in the Friends reunion special. After all, can anything be more hilarious than Chandler in an uncomfortable situation! Talking about uncomfortable situations, Rachel’s sister Jill will also make an appearance in Friends: The Reunion.

The One With The Soap Opera Party - Season 9, Episode 20

Joey can be sneaky and how! We got to know in this episode where he sends everyone to a play “Why Don’t You Like Me” to host a secret soap opera party on the rooftop. Unfortunately, Rachel finds out about it, followed by Monica, Phoebe, and Ross. Chandler is the only one who doesn’t and is stuck watching the play alone. Meanwhile, at the party, Ross is trying to impress his colleague with dinosaur impressions. We can’t wait to see Ross give some iconic expressions in Friends the reunion.

What is Phoebe without her weirdness? And what’s more fun than to witness Mike supporting her 100% for it! In this episode, Phoebe changes her name after her marriage to Princess Consuela Banana Hammock just for the fun of it! This episode also has the angle of Monica and Chandler deciding to move to the suburbs, where Joey is visiting the house they’ve shortlisted and tries to change their minds by making weird noises and pointing out non-existent faults.
Paul Rudd aka Mike a.k.a Princess Consuela Banana Hammock's husband Crap Bag is not on the guest list of the Friends reunion special, but we want to know what he is up to! PS: We are crazy about his piano skills. He is definitely going to be missed in the Friends Reunion 2021
