The Simpsons, a modern comedy has had many moments that have eerily manifested in the future. These unexpected and uncanny predictions will blow your mind. 

1. The Donald Trump presidency

In the Season 11, Episode 17: “Bart to the Future.” Lisa becomes the president of the United States. In a cabinet meeting, she casually mentions, "We inherited quite the budget crunch from President Trump." And the rest is history for us.

2. Disney buys 20th Century Fox

In the Season 10, Episode 5: "When You Dish Upon a Star,” we witnessed the 20th Century Fox logo with "A Division of Walt Disney Co." below it. And in June 2018, it actually happened.

3. Smart watches

In the Season 6, Episode 19: "Lisa's Wedding," we see the show taking a big leap into the future predictions. We see a wedding proposal from Lisa's boyfriend Hugh to call her through an audible feature by talking into his watch. Who knew the idea would turn into reality in 2013.

4. Autocorrect

In the Season 6, Episode 8: "Lisa on Ice,” we see Dolph writing the memo "Beat up Martin" on his Apple Newton. The text then translates to "Eat up, Martha.” Who knew Apple would work on the iPhone keyboard only years later.

5. The Beatles sending belated fan mail

In the Season 2, Episode 18: "Brush with Greatness,” Marge Simpson, in high school, had sent a painting to her celebrity crush Ringo Starr. After decades pass, Ringo finally sends back a response, fulfilling a vow to return all fan mail. The prediction seemed to pass between the living Beatles, as, in 2013, two women from Essex received a reply from Sir Paul McCartney after sending him a mixtape 50 years earlier.

6. Video chats

In Season 6, Episode 19: "Lisa's Wedding,” we see yet another miraculous invention, video chat. The entire episode is a visual communication via a screen, not by phone. And now we have Skype, Google Hangout, FaceTime, and what not.

7. Lady Gaga's Super Bowl performance

In the Season 23, Episode 22: "Lisa Goes Gaga,” we witnessed a pop star visiting Springfield. And then we saw an uncanny resemblance as Gaga performed at the Super Bowl in 2017, many noticed her wire-based outfit just as shown in the episode.
