Actor Ranveer Singh, full name Ranveer Singh Bhavnani, was born on 6th July 1985 to parents Anju Bhavnani and Jagjit Singh Bhavnani. Ranveer Singh’s father is a businessman while his mother is a homemaker. He belongs to a Sindhi-Sikh family and also has an elder sister, Ritika Bhavnani. Actor Ranveer Singh’s grandparents moved from Karachi, present-day Sindh, to Bombay during the partition of India. Ranveer Singh’s connection to Bollywood is quite old. His maternal grandmother, Chand Burke was an actress who made her debut in Maheshwari Productions’ Kahan Gaye (1946). It was written and directed by Niranjan, who later married actor Ranveer Singh’s grandmother.

In 2012, he started dating his frequent co-actor Deepika Padukone. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot at Lake Como, Italy in 2018.
