Empowerment of women is truly seeping into every industry and space, where you see women not only participate but also lead the way. An increasing number of women are entering each industry with unparalleled talent and skill. This growth in participation, coupled with the growing recognition and acceptance amongst people for such participation is propelling the female population towards achieving greater accolades.

There was once a time when female actors were commodities you could easily replace, while the male actors were really the anchors of the show. Nowadays, some of the most successful women on screen have shown the world that they are ready and capable of hustling and conquering the hearts of audiences all by themselves. They do not need to play the role of damsels in distress for their shows to be successful.

Here are some of the more successful TV shows with female leads that have contributed impressively towards changing the mindset and breaking several stereotypes of society.
