Initially, 1114 cricket players had registered for the IPL 2021 auction but the final list was closed at 292 players after the 8 franchises submitted their shortlisted players. A total of 164 Indian players, 125 international players and 3 players from Associate Nations will be up for grabs in the IPL auction 2021. The 292 cricket players will compete for 61 vacant slots at the IPL 2021 auction.
