Millennials have spent their childhood watching serials with their parents and while most of them would be too embarrassed to admit they were invested in the storyline as much as their moms, many will fondly remember the characters they had a crush on! So take a ride back in time and revisit some of the most popular TV characters from our childhood.

1, Jiya (Shararat)

The bubbly Jiya from Shararat is still one of our favorite witches ever! Shruti Seth became every guy's crush after she starred in Shararat. Post Shararat, she hosted a few seasons of Comedy Circus and also starred in movies like Fanaa and Rajneeti.

The object of Komolika’s fancy, Cezanne Khan’s Anurag Basu ruled our hearts for nearly 8 years. Though Kasautii Zindagi Kay has been rebooted, Cezanne will always remain the OG and our favorite Anurag Basu. Cezanne has starred in multiple other roles but none earned him as much fame as his role in Kasautii...

Sangita Ghosh’s Pammi was a heartthrob during the early 2000s. The wait was real back then when people had to eagerly wait for the calendar to show Monday and the clock to hit 9 pm for Pammi’s once-in-a-week appearance on Star Plus. Sangita was last seen in Divya Dristi.

Tia in Remix just made our hearts skip a beat, won’t you say so? Shweta Gulati’s Tia was a very interesting character on the show, to say the least. Later on, she starred in Dill Mill Gayye as Dr. Nikita Malhotra and made us fall in love with her all over again!

8. Dr. Armaan Malik (Dill Mill Gayye)

Karan Singh Grover’s each subsequent role has been more famous than his previous one but the role that catapulted him into the hearts of almost every Indian is that of Dr. Armaan Malik in Dill Mill Gayye. His chemistry with Dr. Riddhima Gupta (all three of them) made them the “it” couple. He subsequently starred in Qubool Hai and after a hiatus of 6 years, in Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot.
