Five must-watch Arjun Sarja films

Tamil actor Srinivasa Sarja or ‘Action King’ Arjun loves to reinvent himself in every film. From playing a TV journalist in the political thriller Mudhalvan to a police officer in Kolaigaran, he has done it all. In fact, the suave action star has appeared in 150 films in his three-decade-long career. Here’s a look at some of his best films that won us over.

This political thriller went on to become one of the biggest hits of Arjun’s career. His performance as a chief minister was about the right mix of brain and brawn. Mudhalvan was later remade in Hindi as Nayak with Anil Kapoor.

This 2011 action thriller directed by Venkat Prabhu kept viewers on the edge of their seats. Arjun wowed as the police officer who wanted to end the IPL betting scandal. The film pleased die-hard fans with intense gunfights and thrilling chases.

Arjun left a lasting impression as DGP Vijay Kumar in this gripping Kannada biopic on forest brigand Veerappan. His role as a top cop who wrote the final chapter in Veerappan’s life wowed critics and audiences alike.
