Farhan Akhtar is the son of the famous writer, lyricist Javed Akhtar and screenwriter Honey Irani. And, Farah Khan is the daughter of Kamran Khan and Menaka Irani, sister of Honey Irani and Daisy Irani. So, there is no doubt that film flows in their blood.
Today Farah Khan is one of the best choreographers in the industry. But, she had never wanted to be one until the day she saw Michael Jackson's "Thriller". After directing Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya and Don, Farhan Akhtar finally decided to come in front of the camera as a rockstar in the movie 'Rock On!'. He surprised everyone with his fine acting and singing in the movie and won multiple awards, including the prestigious Filmfare accolade for the Best Male Debut. He has been honoured with the Filmfare Best Actor award for portraying the Flying Sikh, Milkha Singh, in 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'.
Farah Khan put on her director's hat with the super hit movie 'Main Hoon Na'.
