1. Rowdy Rathore

Rowdy Rathore was an action film produced by SLB, Rajat Rawail and Ronnie Screwvala. Released in 2012, this movie was an official remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkudu. The movie drew special attention for its peppy songs, most of which were superhit dance numbers. Starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, this movie received huge commercial success at the box office.

2. Mary Kom

Some of you may be surprised to see this movie in the list. Yes, even we were! This biographical sports film was produced by SLB in association with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Priyanka Chopra played the lead role and depicted the journey of the real-life boxing star, Mary Kom. Priyanka’s power-packed performance and Mary Kom’s inspiring story made this film a superhit.

3. My Friend Pinto

Produced by SLB and Ronnie Screwvala, this movie was released in 2011. Unlike other films of SLB, this film had a lot of humour – slapstick comedy to be precise! My Friend Pinto was a musical comedy with elements of picaresque and multiple musical sequences. The movie featured Prateik Babbar and Kalki Koechlin in lead roles.

4. Gabbar Is Back

Gabbar Is Back, a mass entertainer, was the second collaboration of SLB and Akshay Kumar. After the success of Rowdy Rathore, they wowed the audiences with this vigilante action film. Gabbar Is Back hit the theatres in 2015 under the banner of Bhansali Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. It was a remake of Tamil film Ramanaa which has been remade in Telugu and Kannada too.

5. Malaal

Malaal is the latest movie that SLB has been associated with. He has co-produced this contemporary love story along with Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain and Krishan Kumar. Malaal is a romantic movie which has been remade from the Tamil film 7G Rainbow Colony. As the lead pair, debutants Sharmin Segal and Meezaan Jaffrey have been successful in winning the viewers’ hearts.
