1. Deep Diwali Ke Jhute

Every Diwali, Doordarshan’s Chitrahaar played this song, making it an integral part of the celebration. With fireworks, singing, dancing, and a happy Dharmendra with over 200 children performing acrobatics, this song takes us back to the old school Diwali celebrations. This melodious song is from the movie 'Jugnu' sung by Kishore Kumar.

Crackers and festive attires remind us of Diwali. This festive song is from the blockbuster film 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar'  choreographed by Suresh Bhatt, Farah Khan and Madhav Kishan. The song exudes festive spirit and joy.

5. Deepavali Manaye Suhani

One of the most beautiful songs of Diwali is this one from the film 'Shirdi Ke Sai Baba', beautifully sung by Asha Bhosle. This song depicts Sai Baba lighting lamps in the village with water instead of oil. It reminds us of the good that is around us and that real happiness comes from spreading joy.
