As the vacation season is coming by, we all are ready with the list of places we want to visit. The world is a beautiful place and it needs to be explored and enjoyed. We all have the urge to explore new places and capture its beauty in a way like no other individual has ever done. Here’s a list of a few of the most beautiful locations where many famous Bollywood films are pictured.

1. Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani – Udaipur

Bunny loves to travel around the globe and shooting at amazing locales. From the colourful local markets that Bunny and Naina visit to mesmerizing locations and hotels they go to, the film has shown places you can enjoy at, in the lap of nature’s beauty.

2. Bajrangi Bhaijaan – Kashmir

Bajrangi Bhaijaan successfully bought India and Pakistan closer. It shows the beauty of Kashmir of both the countries so nicely that it makes us pack out bags right away and visit the amazing locations. Haider too has been shot in Gulmarg, Kashmir. This movie reflects the snow-capped mountains of Kashmir.

3. Piku – Delhi and Kolkata

Piku shows the shades of a father-daughter relationship through a road trip from Delhi to Kolkata. The city is portrayed in a beautiful way in Piku. Amitji travelling around the city on a bicycle will make you feel like visiting this city right away. Other movies like Kurbaan, Delhi 6 and Band Baaja Baaraat were also shot in Delhi.

4. Highway – Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh

A masterpiece by Imtiaz Ali, Highway takes us across Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir. The lovely shots of Kuchaman Valley and the scenic splendour of Pahalgam in Kashmir is elegantly showcased.

5. Baahubali – Kerala

Baahubali is one movie that everybody loves. Have you wondered about the place shown in the film? It is the most gorgeous waterfalls in south India: Athirapally and Vazhachal Falls in Kerela. Wish we could go there and live a regal life just like Baahubali.

6. Barfi – Ooty, Tamil Nadu

Ooty is the place that has always been considered beautiful by people from around the world. Barfi fuelled our wanderlust to explore each region and appreciate the exquisite beauty of Darjeeling. The clock tower, the famous Glenary’s Cafe and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway—Barfi presents the hill town at its best. The super hit iconic songs of “chayan chayan” from Dilse and the melodious “dekha hai pehli baar” from Sajan are also shot here.

7. Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar – Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand

The Incredible town of Pithoragarh has recently made its way into the upcoming 2018 Bollywood movie ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’, shot amidst its snow-capped mountains, valleys, and waterfalls. The region is blessed with flora and fauna that demands appreciation.

8. Jagga Jasoos – Darjeeling, West Bengal

This hill station has been one of the most breath-taking Bollywood shoot locations. From Parineeta to Barfi and Jagga Jasoos, all found beauty in Darjeeling. The most famous location of all here are the Himalayan Railway station, Tiger Mountain, and lakes. And the best part about Darjeeling is its toy train that ambles through the city with markets cropping up on the side of the road.

9. 3 Idiots – Pangong Lake

One of the best films of Bollywood, 3 Idiots brought back memories from college days for all of us. The movie showcases glimpses of Shimla, Manali and the mesmerising beauty of Ladakh. It gave all the students biking and travel goals.
