And we don’t even disagree. His journey has been exceptionally incredible. Right from his 114 runs against Sri Lanka in the 1st Test series tour in 2009 to the most renowned 97 runs against Sri Lanka during the finale of 2011 World Cup, Gautam’s performance has been outstanding

Gauti is also famous for breaking quite a few bats, after which the team has won almost all the times. The most remembered one being at the match when he was playing for KKR in IPL against Mumbai Indians

In his video, he speaks of the things he will miss after his retirement. “The thing that I will miss the most is the camaraderie of an Indian team's dressing room. It was a wonderful place to be in. Yes, there are pressures of international sport but then when you have teammates like I had these pressures look elementary. I learned heaps from each one of them. I will miss all of that and more. Thank you guys, you all will be my one, big family,” he said
