After Teen Patti and Luv Ka The End, Shraddha wanted to do something big to prove her skills and work even harder to build her reputation in the industry. Aashiqui 2 was the film that gave her success and brought her into the limelight. “I love doing films. I always wanted to act and be part of different kinds of movies. This phase of my life is very special. I am making memories. In the future, I will look back at these days and tell myself, that this period was absolutely crazy!” Shraddha said in an interview.
Right after Aashiqui 2, Shraddha was seen in Haider and Ek Villian. Both films saw her recognised as a great actress, making her one of the most desirable talents in the industry.
With more dedication and positivity, Shraddha went on to give yet another hit in 2015. With ABCD 2 doing well at the box office, Shraddha said, “I am high on life and also on the audience’s love. But I feel that there are more special days in store. The best is yet to come. It’s not just about the box office, but also about the kinds of films and roles that I want to do.”
With each passing year, Shraddha has only worked harder and taken it up a notch for herself, keeping busy with so many ongoing projects. She also said that she hasn’t taken a break since last year to spend time with family. Not a single day has passed when she’s not working. If not on film sets, she’s busy shooting for a magazine or has other commitments!
The year 2016 & 2017 haven’t been great for her since her films Baaghi 2, Rock On 2 and OK Jaanu didn’t work as expected. She wasn’t nervous even then. She took that very sportingly and said that ups and downs are a part of the journey. It makes you the person you are! We also believe its true.
With Stree releasing last year and reaching the 100 crore mark, Shraddha says she feels relieved. With this horror-comedy film, she has only raised the bar for herself and all the other actors who are in the same league. Working on this film was a difficult task but she maintained the energy and went on to work each day she says.
