  • Chicken - 300 gms
  • Vegetable Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Carrot - 2, diced

  • Green Beans - 10, chopped
  • Pineapple - 100 gms, sliced

  • Fresh Cream - ¼ cup
  • Salt - As required


  1. To make this Russian Salad recipe, wash the chicken properly and drain the excess water. Then, boil it with ½ cup water and ½ tsp salt in a pressure cooker.
  2. Pressure cook for 1 whistle and simmer on low heat for 1-2 minutes. Switch off the flame. After it cools down, remove the flesh from the bones and cut it into small pieces. Put the pieces in a bowl and add 1 tbsp vinegar and 1 tbsp oil to it. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Now, boil 2 cups of water with ½ tsp salt. Add peas, beans and carrots and boil further for 1 minute. Once done, remove from flame and strain. Add cold water and strain again.
