  3. Next, take a medium-sized portion of the dough and use a rolling pin to make a small circle (apply for flour when necessary).

  1. To make Batata Vada, firstly, add mashed potatoes and a batch of green chillies, ginger and garlic in a bowl.
  2. Next, heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, ginger, garlic, green chillies, curry leaves and saute for about 5 minutes. Next, add asafoetida, salt, red chilli powder and turmeric. Fry for another 5 minutes. Once all the spices are properly fried and fragrant, add to it mashed potatoes with coriander leaves. Leave the mixture to cool down.
