Uncapped Player Meaning

The meaning of uncapped players in IPL are the players who are not yet selected to represent their respective national cricket teams. The uncapped players are a part of the IPL auction along with the capped players. The base price of these players is lower as compared to that of the capped players. But if the team bids for an amount higher than the base price, the buying team has to pay the whole amount.
