An alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India, Benjamin Gilani founded a theatre company called Motleys Productions along with Tom Alter and Naseeruddin Shah in 1977. In an illustrious career spanning over four decades, he’s worked in several plays, films and TV series. His most memorable role has been his portrayal of Jawaharlal Nehru in the 1983 film, Sardar.
