There is so much beauty around the world and we all want to travel and explore the most exotic locations. Bollywood has made some of the locations so famous not only in India but overseas too. Have a look to know what these are.

1. Jab We Met.
Jab We Met covered some of the most beautiful locations in North India. As Geet says- ‘Mujhe na pahad baut pasand hai’, this film was majorly shot in Shimla, Bollywood’s favourite location to shoot at! While zooming through the sub-zero climate of the frosty and fatally dangerous Rohtang Pass, the enthusiasm of the team remained intact.

2. Haider.
This brilliant movie will touch your heart and make you feel like you’re present in Kashmir. The location here, is the hero; it was shot in snow when the temperature was -15 and -17 degrees Celsius.

3. Dilwale
Dilwale’s famous song ‘Gerua’ was shot at various stunning locations in Sofia, Bulgaria and parts of Iceland. It is one of the most exotic locations Bollywood has ever made use of.

4. Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
The film’s shooting took place at Sonmarg and Zoji La, Kashmir Valley. The climax scene was shot at Sonmarg near the Thajiwas glacier (at 10,000 ft above sea level)

5. Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.
Our favourite ‘Tu Jaane Na’ song from Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ was shot at the white salt-water terrace in Pamukkale, Turkey. The song also captured the locations like Denizli, the Aspendos Theatre and the Temple of Apollo.

6. Highway.
In Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Highway’, we see ample glimpses of incredible and untouched Northern India. The artists faced difficulties while filming scenes in Kaza, Himachal Pradesh since there was heavy snowfall and no electricity. The view though was breathtaking.

7. Jab Tak Hai Jaan
The entire film was shot in Ladakh and London. How can we forget ShahRukh’s famous dialogue from the film, “Done done London kardo ji”. We can’t get enough of the historic towers of London.

8. Rockstar
Apart from Delhi University, the part of the film where Nargis gets married is shot in Kashmir. We also get to see Srinagar, Kulgam and Kupwara and Prague, Czech Republic in the film. Oh, the beauty!

9. Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge
Nobody can ever forget Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and it’s beautiful locations. The place where Shah Rukh Khan’s dialogue – “Agar woh mujhse pyaar karti hai, toh paltegi!” is captured is our favourite. Right from the beginning, the film was majorly shot in Switzerland, giving us vacation goals.

10. Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
This film takes you to a dream trip with all its immensely beautiful locations. A trek in Manali and stay near Hadimba temple to a destination wedding in Udaipur, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani will make you want to pack your bags immediately.

11. 3 Idiots
The well-known climax of the film was pictured at the Pangong Lake, Ladakh. The lake is situated at a height of 14,270 ft above sea level and freezes completely during winters. It is definitely a must visit.

12. Student Of The Year.
The love song from the film was shot in the picturesque locales of Kashmir. Karan Johar and the entire crew braved the shooting in this extreme climate.
