One of the old Hindi suspense movies, it featured no songs and was the first Hindi movie without an interval. It was the last movie that Yash Chopra directed under his brother B. R. Chopra’s banner. Ittefaq (1969) inspired the 2017 movie of the same name starring Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha, and Akshaye Khanna.
