With this match, Rohit became the player to have faced the highest number of deliveries in 50-Over cricket.

2. 177 vs West Indies
On his International Test debut in 2013, Rohit Sharma smashed an astounding 177 runs off 301 balls. Having been named the Man of the Match, Rohit led team India to win the Test match by an inning and 51 runs.

3. 208* vs Sri Lanka
During the Sri Lanka Tour of India in December 2017, in the 2nd ODI against Sri Lanka, Rohit Sharma scored a gobsmacking 208* NOT OUT off just 153 balls. Scoring a better part of his double century in the last 5 overs, Rohit helped India win the match by 141 runs.

4. 118 vs Sri Lanka
In the 2nd T20I, during the Sri Lanka Tour of India in December 2017, Rohit Sharma smashed 118 runs off just 43 balls to clinch the series from the losing Sri Lankan team. The match in which 31 sixes were smashed, also saw Rohit’s century as the earliest ton scored, coming in the 12th over.

5. 147 vs New Zealand
During the 3rd ODI in the New Zealand Tour of India, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli both scored centuries and became the first ODI pair to combine in four double-century stands. With his mind-blogging 147 runs off 138 balls, team India clinched the series winning it by 2-1.
