Virat Kohli, being India’s favourite batsman has won lot many titles for various records that he has managed to score till date. The Captain has become the world’s best batsman across all the formats and is set to hit more boundaries and break more records.

1. Highest ODI centuries scorer
He, so far, has played 201 matches and scored 31 centuries with an average of 55.38, which is more than Sachin’s average of 44.83. His centuries are the even ahead of AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla.

2. Most successful Test match Captain
As a Test Match Captain, he has scored centuries in both the innings of the Adelaide Test, giving India a famous win. His leadership and aggression does help India to win any game.

3. Most centuries against one team
During the Australian tour in Dec 2014-Jan 2015, Kohli scored 11 hundreds in 54 international matches, resulting in nearly 3,000 runs.

His batting average is 106.83, the highest across the world. In 52 T20s, Kohli has 1852 runs to his name at an average of 52.91 which is much more than any other batsman.

5. Highest man of the match awards in international cricket
Breaking all the records, he has won 40 Man Of The Match awards in 313 matches as compared to Sachin who has won 76 man of the match awards in 664 matches.

6. First batsman to hit the 2000 runs target in 2017
He also became the first player to reach the 2000 runs boundary in the International cricket in 2017. He was also the first one to aggregate 1000 runs in this year.

7. Fastest 15000 runs scorer in International cricket
In a matter of 304 matches, he has scored 15000 runs becoming the fastest Indian player to celebrate that milestone against Sri Lanka recently.
