Young, fast and with a killer instinct, Kylian Mbappe is currently contractually aligned with Paris Saint-Germain. However, his brilliance has been evident for the last 3 years and was cemented at the 2018 World Cup. Real Madrid are thought to be interested and have already tried to sign the player before from AS Monaco.

3. Paul Pogba
At one point, Paul Pogba was the most expensive player of all time, that is until Paris-Saint Germain shattered the record and doubled it by taking Neymar from FC Barcelona. Pogba performed the role of midfield main man perfectly for France in the 2018 World Cup and will interest lots of clubs as his rift with Jose Mourinho intensifies. The England frontman holds Tottenham Hotspurs close to his heart and harbours ambitions of winning a trophy at the new home of his boyhood club. However, money and the promise of immediate success could turn Harry Kane’s head, force him to break his new, long-term contract and head to pastures anew. Real Madrid are once again mooted to be a possible destination.

A rocky debut season with FC Barcelona notwithstanding, Yerry Mina turned up at the 2018 World Cup with Colombia in fine form. The center-half is still young and wanted by a number of clubs including Manchester United and Everton. An interesting summer awaits for the gentle giant Mina.

6. Karim Benzema
After all the talk of players they could sign, Real Madrid might even off-load Karim Benzema this summer. Yes, the Frenchman is the only recognized senior center forward at Los Blancos, but his slow starts have frustrated the Bernabeu faithful too often. If Harry Kane arrives, expect Benzema to be shown the door. Manchester City and Arsenal are thought to be interested.

7. Eden Hazard
After Belgium secured 3rd place at the 2018 World Cup, captain Eden Hazard stated ‘You know where I want to go’. His indication is that, at age 27, he wishes to take the next step of his career and move to Real Madrid. A move is on the cards surely as Madrid scramble to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
