5 things we loved about Bharti Singh’s wedding

gmail

We love our big fat Indian celebrity weddings. The glitz, the glamour, the high street fashion – we can’t get enough of it all! So when ace comedian Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s wedding was announced, it quickly became one of the most awaited affairs on social media. Safe to say, the celebration did not disappoint. From the wedding invites to the dazzling lehengas, everything was a class act. So here are the top five things we absolutely loved about this match made in designer heaven.

1. The invitation
Right from the cute karwa chauth images to the save the date pictures, our news feeds have been flooded with invitations to catch the nuptials live from afar. But for the lucky few who received the actual wedding invitation in hand, it was one worth holding on to. The invitation consisted of a wooden box decorated with sea shells and conch shells – perfectly in sync with the beach themed wedding.

2. The mehendi
Fans got a chance to be a part of the mehendi ceremony with the celebrations being streamed live on Instagram! The intricate mehendi design included floral prints, a blushing bride in the palki, the groom on an elephant top and more! The henna creation was truly a treat to watch.

3. Pre-wedding photo shoots
Bharti and Haarsh had their pre-wedding shoot amongst Sula vineyards and it was freakin’ adorable to say the least. With pictures showing them standing and giggling inside wine barrels surrounded by scenic vineyards, these two certainly gave the rest of us some serious #relationshipgoals.

4. The Boomeranging
With this being an out and out social media wedding, can Boomerang be far behind? We have loved the fun and quirky Boomerangs that have filled our news feeds the past two months – from the twirling pink lehenga to the wedding car balle balle.

5. The clothes
From Neeta Lulla’s gorgeous pink lehenga on day one, to the fuchsia pink and blue wedding day trousseau designed by Aaradhya, Bharti looked no less than a goddess. Dressed in a powder blue and white sherwani, Haarsh looked absolutely debonair himself! But it wasn’t just the love birds who stole the show with their outfits. The who’s who of the TV world flew in to grace the occasion in their finest garb. Model-turned-actress Sanaya Irani looked absolutely ravishing in a gold dress at the cocktail party and stunning beige sari on the wedding day; Asha Negi donned a lovely green and ivory outfit for the mehendi whereas RJ Malishka bedazzled us in a bottle green gown.
